Access by car & bus

When arriving by car or bus, please follow these instructions to find convenient & free parking at Hektor Design Hostel. See also the route from Tartu map.

When arriving from the direction of Riga, Valga & Tallinn, please pay attention to turn uphill on the right side of the road right after passing through the rail tunnel – you will arrive in the free unsecured parking lot. If you wish to use secured parking, please continue driving around the yard to Kastani street, where you can enter from an automatic gate.

When arriving from the direction of Tartu city centre, Jõgeva & Narva, please follow one of the two road options (see also Tartu map):

• For most convenient access to our secured parking area, please turn to a street on the left on Riia road before reaching our building – you should drive around the block to reach the 1-way street of Kastani, from where you can enter from an automatic gate.
• If you have already reached our street corner, but can’t turn left, please make a U-turn when possible. After turning back please pay attention to turn uphill on the right side of the road right after passing through the rail tunnel – you will arrive in the free unsecured parking lot. If you wish to use secured parking, please continue driving around the yard to Kastani street, where you can enter from an automatic gate.
